During the autumn and winter months the New Hardy Players perform works from a a wealth of Dorset Voices such as Thomas Hardy, William Barnes, Hugh Simpson, and Douglas Northover, plus new original work written by the groups own talented Dorset writers. Music, song and dance all add to the fun.

2012

Valentines is the theme for Dorset Voices at St Michael's church Penselwood, Saturday Feb 11th 2012 at 7.30pm.Tickets cost £7 on the door. A Raffle will raise funds for CRY and ticket sales will be shared between the Players and the church..  Venue information

2011

Performance at Tarrant Keynston - 3rd December 2011.

October - Five players performed a 10 minute opener for the Volunteers Centre's Annual Awards evening.

October - A small group performed a short programme at the Durbeyville Centre, Wool to help the Cancer Research groups fund raiser.

2010

December - Seasonal readings at Poundbury Garden Centre.

March - The NHPs entertained the W.I. Group Meeting at West Lulworth Village Hall. A great evening was had by all. Hardy won these ladies hearts with his humour and romance.

A special fund raising event  to save unique Hardy manuscripts - "Hardy Chapter and Verse" took place on Friday 12th March 7:30pm, Dorset County Museum. £2,500 was raised bringing the fund within reach of the £58,000 needed.

Sat 05 Dec - Sydling Village Hall - 7.30 pm, £7 with wine, £2.50 Children                   The first outing of "The Awkward Squad" delighted an audience who braved the inclement weather!

Sat 12 Dec - St Mary's Church, Netherbury - 3.00pm                                             Norrie Woodhall performed The Owl and The Ruined Maid to a capacity audience.

Sat 19 Dec - Dorset County Museum, Dorchester - 7.30pm  £10 including refreshments Norrie Woodhall performed at this most successful special Christmas event.
